I was hesitant to start talking once again about pigeons, but my new friend Kelsie's appreciation for my world's dumbest animals theory has been somewhat encouraging. Once again this morning on the same stretch of lonely desert road, the bus I was riding in hit and killed another pigeon.
This time the bus driver was a lady and she was pretty upset about it. She let out a gasp as the loud *thunk!* reverberated throughout the bus. Everyone sitting near the front started chuckling about it happening again but she loudly said in a worried voice, "We need to stop, somebody needs to do something!" It was about then that she realized that it was just a dumb bird and she quieted down and just kept driving.
Also, earlier this week I was driving down another stretch of road and I happened to glance up at a tree alongside that had an exposed branch full of pigeons and crows on it. Well along comes this one idiot pigeon screaming in at a million pigeon MPH and it looked like he didn't even try to land on the branch, he just plowed into all of the other birds and knocked a bunch of them off and went tumbling down to the ground. Honestly though, I can't knock this behavior too much, people are constantly doing the same thing in their cars.
I need a life...lol
