Halloween!

This month is so exciting! I love October! In addition to all of the excitement that comes with the changing of seasons, it's also Halloween!

 

Growing up we did Halloween a few times but after the draw-down in the 90's in Germany, my family was pretty much the only American family in my village. It wasn't until I got to Afghanistan that I really started to get into it.

I totally dropped the ball last year and only had time to order some Afro and mullet wigs but this year, we're going all out…at least a couple of us are. Our resident scary black guy is going to be a pimp, Chico the Grande Mexican is going to be a beer keg, and I'm still trying to decide between the angry chicken, a Mexican guy riding a donkey, or a big hairy gorilla again.

 

I was a gorilla back in Afghanistan one time and it was so damn pimp. I had girls running from all over the place to take pictures with me, yup me and like 20 girls with guns. That was a good day. I should probably do that one again. We'll see.
