Well another Christmas is here. Happy Day! Normally I stay busy on Christmas but today was a no fly day for us so instead I tried to sleep in. My body is pretty much tuned to its 0400 wakeup schedule so on the dot I found myself climbing out of bed before I realized what was happening. But I climbed back in and dozed off until 0900 and I’ve been completely bored ever since then. So here I sit watching bootleg DVD’s and missing my cat.

Last night was pretty fun, I went to the DFAC for chow with a couple of guys that I work with and I got so excited that I almost wet my pants when I saw that they had Chinese food for Christmas dinner! My family has always done Christmas dinner on the 24th; it’s a European thing. But yeah, it was awesome. But then as I was walking back to my hooch I ran into some old friends from way back when and we went to another dining facility for chow. And THEN later that night I got a call from another old friend here who wanted me to meet her for midnight chow because she works nights. So I had 3 big Christmas dinners in the space of about 5 hours. It was good to see everyone again.

Life is good, so good in fact that I think I’m gonna go take a nap.
